The youarehere! imprint is an occasional series of photo and text based publications that Coy devised in conversation with Will Self. Originally distributed on campus and to local libraries, each work explores a different aspect of the physical reality of this area on the western fringes of London.
The imprint extends Coy’s practice in experimental publishing, in this instance allowing for the incidental distribution of publications with the use of public digital displays and specially designed bill boards and posters.
Other recent text works include, Audio Guides (2004-2014), your right to continued existence (cally colour chart) (2016), Krapps Shultz, Whitstable Biennale (2012), I’ll go on with Beckett & Bryne, Whitechapel Gallery (2013) and Nothing is as dark as the memory of darkness, Eastside Projects (2016), On darkness {or} the mechanical construction of random language thrown from an island into the sea Bristol Experimental Expanded Film (2018).
